THE FOUNDER OF KLR
MEET KATIE
I am a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist and studied Naturopathic Nutrition for 3 years at the
College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), obtaining a distinction in my field. I am accredited with
BANT (British Association of Nutrition Therapy) and CNHC.

In the clinic, my predominant interests are Chronic illness. In particular: chronic fatigue syndrome/ME, IBS and Environmental illness. The reason for these specific interests lies with the personal fact that I have been managing multiple chronic health conditions of this nature since my own health journey began in 2015. I have seen for myself the benefits that natural health approaches can make and have a strong passion for all things nutrition and health.
THE CREATION OF
My Journey
I went from pushing myself physically and mentally to achieve ‘perfection’ at a top 10 university to becoming bedbound. From the ages of 18/19 onwards, I was diagnosed with a whole medley of conditions including: CFS/ME (chronic fatigue syndrome), Coeliac, ‘IBS’ and hEDS (hypermobility Ehlers danlos syndrome). Extreme exhaustion, insomnia, widespread pain, anxiety, noise sensitivity, weight loss, brain fog were symptoms that presented daily. It was a lot to take in! I wasn’t getting anywhere with a mainstream approach so started to go down a more holistic route. I saw a naturopath and then a naturopathic nutritionist. It was during this time that I was able to complete my degree at my local university due to the improvements I was making. I was inspired to educate myself further and felt empowered to take control of my own health, so I went on to train in Manchester at CNM.
My Present & Future
As a registered Nutritional Therapist, I have the knowledge to continue healing and improving with my health but can help others too. It has already changed my life for the better. I have dreams and passions that I never thought would have been possible, helping people being at the forefront of that. This led to me creating KLR Natural Nutrition, a place for people to come who want expertise and advice from someone who not only understands how they feel but can also understand the science behind it to help you on your road to recovery.
